At Honey’s Ragdolls, we are a small, closed, cage-free home cattery dedicated to raising beautiful, healthy, well-socialized Ragdoll kittens with a strong focus on health, temperament, and the traditional Ragdoll characteristics we all love.

​

Our kittens are raised underfoot and integrated into our family home, where they are surrounded by everyday household activity, love, attention, and plenty of socialization from the very beginning. We also have a family dog, giving our kittens the opportunity to become comfortable around other members of the household.

A Small, Cage-Free Home

Because we are a small cattery, we are able to give our cats and kittens the individual attention they deserve. Our breeding king has his own dedicated room, but he is not confined to it. With supervision, he is frequently allowed to roam throughout our home and spend time with our family.

Our queens also have their own dedicated room, where they can have privacy and a peaceful environment when needed. Once a pregnancy is confirmed, our queens are given the freedom to roam throughout our home, allowing them to remain comfortable, active, and involved in family life while we closely monitor their health and pregnancy.

Our goal is to provide a calm, clean, loving environment where our cats are treated as cherished members of our family.

Health Comes First

The health of our cats and kittens is our highest priority. All breeding kings and queens at Honey’s Ragdolls are tested for genetic abnormalities and infectious diseases, including Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), commonly referred to as feline AIDS. Our breeding adults have tested negative on all of these tests.

Our genetic testing includes:

• PKD1 (Polycystic Kidney Disease) — a hereditary condition that can affect the kidneys.

• HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) — a serious heart disease that can occur in cats.

• Additional genetic testing as appropriate for our breeding program.

 

We carefully select and test our breeding cats because we believe responsible breeding begins with making informed decisions about the health and genetics of every generation.

 

Our Health Guarantee

Every Honey’s Ragdolls kitten comes with a 12-month health guarantee against congenital and hereditary diseases. We stand behind the health and care that goes into raising each kitten.

Our kittens will go home spayed or neutered, with their age-appropriate vaccinations, and will typically be ready to join their forever families between 12 and 14 weeks of age.

Once your kitten goes home, future vaccinations and routine veterinary care become the responsibility of the new family.

 

While we take extensive precautions through health screening, genetic testing, veterinary care, and responsible breeding practices, no breeder can guarantee that a kitten will never develop an illness. Certain non-genetic illnesses, including Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), may occur independently of genetic testing and can potentially be associated with stress or other factors. Our health guarantee therefore applies specifically to congenital and hereditary conditions as outlined in our written health guarantee. Honey’s Ragdolls cannot be held responsible for non-genetic illnesses that occur outside the terms of that guarantee.

 

Finding Your Honey’s Ragdolls Kitten

When our waiting list opens, families may reserve their place on a first-come, first-served basis. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your kitten and your place in the selection process.

We believe bringing a kitten into your family should be a thoughtful and personal experience. We want to get to know our families and help make the transition from our home to yours as smooth as possible.

Our kittens are lovingly raised to be confident, affectionate, and well-socialized companions, and we take great pride in preparing them for life with their forever families.
